Idealcombi Futura+ double sliding door with floor finished to the threshold

The Frame IC and Nation IC Double Low Threshold Sliding Door has a maximum clear opening of 3061 mm, an overall maximum height of 2485 mm and an overall maximum width of 6718 mm. With triple glazing in the sliding part, the door can achieve a U value of 0.91 W/m²K. With double glazing in the sliding part, the U value is 1.18 W/m²K.

The Futura+ double sliding door has a floating mullion that slides aside, allowing for a big opening to enjoy the great outdoors. The master is identical to a Futura+ single sliding door and can be operated as such. When the full opening is wanted, a lever on the slave is pulled and the slave can slide aside. Internally the finished floor level can be made to meet the threshold creating the illusion of a low level threshold.

Double sliding patio doors for wider openings

A double sliding patio door is designed to make larger openings easier to use. Instead of one sliding sash, the double layout gives you two sliding sashes, helping create a wider passage to the garden, patio or terrace.

This makes Double Sliding Doors ideal for open plan kitchens, living rooms, garden rooms and rear extensions where you want more daylight, a better view and easy movement between spaces.

The Idealcombi Frame IC and Nation IC Double Low Threshold Sliding Door is easy to operate with a single handle on each sash. The sliding sashes roll smoothly on double rollers, so the door feels practical even when large glass panels are used.

Low threshold Double Sliding Doors

A low threshold is one of the biggest advantages of the Idealcombi double sliding patio door. It helps create a smoother transition between the inside floor and the patio, terrace or garden.

This is useful for families, children, wheelchair users and anyone who wants a more accessible home. It also helps create a more seamless indoor and outdoor feeling, especially when floor finishes are planned carefully on both sides of the opening.

The Idealcombi low threshold sliding door can be specified with Frame IC or Nation IC external aluminium profiles.

Designed to match your windows

The Idealcombi Double Low Threshold Sliding Door is available with Frame IC and Nation IC external aluminium profiles.

Frame IC has the appearance of a traditional timber glazing bead finish. Nation IC has a glazing putty look, making it suitable for projects where you want a more traditional character.

A Futura+ look alike profile is also available, including styling bars for projects where Futura+ windows have been specified. This gives you more flexibility when coordinating windows and doors across the same home.
