Idealcombi Futura+ gets updated window panes to increase thermal performance – lowering the average U-value from 0.87 to 0.79 W/m2K.

For six years the innovative Idealcombi Futura+ has been setting the standard for minimalistic contemporary window systems with great thermal efficiency.
Idealcombi Futura+ was launched in 2010 being the first composite window system incorporating PUR(polyurethane) as thermal break in the construction.
Not alone was the Futura+ the first window system using PUR but also the only window system with inward and outward opening functions with the exact same 53 mm external profile.
Combining the innovation with Danish manufacturing quality and the sleek Scandinavian design makes the Idealcombi Futura+ truly unique offering what no one else in the market can offer.

All the innovation work going into the Idealcombi Futura+ window system resulted in a “Best Windows 2016” at the Build It Award in September. With the updated energy efficiency, we hope to also be a strong contender for the “Best Windows 2017” award.

Idealcombi Futura+ is being used in all project from renovation and extensions to new custom builds, passive houses, public and commercial schemes.

This recent performance update allows the change from 38 to 44 mm window panes – improving the thermal efficiency of the triple glazed pane.

New units will go into production early 2017 with first deliveries mid-March.

The updated Idealcombi Futura+ continue being SBD – now as PAS24:2016.
