Timekeepers Square comprises 36 Georgian informed townhouses located in the stunning surroundings of the Grade 2 listed neo-classical Church of St Philip’s and opposite Salford Cathedral. “We have used Idealcombi for the supply of window & door systems for our F4 scheme in Salford comprising of 36, three story houses. The scheme was originally tendered in a competitive market and the specification allowed for the choice of window systems from both Idealcombi and a competitor, the final choice being available to the winning contractor.
We investigated both alternatives, but due to the extensive technical support offered at tender stage, a decision was taken to utilise Idealcombi for this scheme. Subsequently the excellent service offered during the contract has allowed us the degree of confidence to additionally place orders for the next phase of the works at Oldfield Road, a further 22 dwellings of similar design.
The scheme is being developed for a joint developer and the dwellings are marketed as “high quality living spaces” a brief mirrored in the high quality specification of finishes, including a high spec window & door system.
During the specification phase of the scheme we were involved in numerous design consultations, involving Idealcombi support, to agree levels of security, SAP ratings, aesthetics and operational issues. All of which were well supported by Idealcombi and at this stage we discussed deliveries, logistics of supplies and site storage.
We also employed an approved installer for the fitment of the window systems (EWS), who proved excellent and who was able to call upon Idealcombi for support if and when required.
Finally I would have no issue in recommending Idealcombi for any future schemes. The product is commercially viable, of excellent quality and the support and advise available throughout the procurement and installation phase has been exemplary, thanks.”
