Chobham Manor is the first of five neighbourhoods to be created at London’s newest urban park – Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

The residential complex altogether will comprise of approximately 850 homes ranging from 1 to 5 bedroom apartments, maisonettes and houses designed to appeal to multiple generations. Renowned London based architect firms such as PRP, Karakusevic Carson, Make and Haworth Tompkins have designed the prestigious new homes.

Neighbouring the velodrome where British athletes were victorious during the 2012 Olympic Games, the whole complex is situated in close communication with all major transport links. The proximity to green areas and a wide variety of shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment, will undoubtedly turn the area into a sought-after place to live.

The exterior design of the living space is deeply rooted in the British town house design – after tradition, yet totally in sync with today’s demands for energy friendly, low maintenance and easy access homes. And this is exactly where Idealcombi’s innovative and high quality windows fit in.

The Danish manufacturer of energy efficient windows and doors will be delivering 700+ Futura+i tilt-turn windows for the phase one of the development of Chobham Park with first part of the delivery taking place at the end of February 2015.

Idealcombi has extensive experience in delivering high volume quality products to the British construction market. The company’s high quality Futura+ and Futura+i series are among the most energy efficient on the market and have become a popular choice with architects. Futura+i has the exact same external design as Futura+ but is inward opening thus providing full architectural freedom.

James Hutchins, UK General Manager at Idealcombi has a positive outlook to the future, as the improving financial climate provides an increasingly better foundation for large scale projects. He is confident that we will see a lot more of Idealcombi products in British newbuilds in the years to come.
