Bright Green Futures‘ project was the Courtyard in Montpellier. It was Bristol’s first purpose built co-housing development and the first project to pilot self-build for rented accommodation.
The tenants of the four flats personally helped design their future homes, and some even help with the build.
The Courtyard is the first project in Bristol to be awarded an A-rating for both energy efficiency and environmental impact on the energy certificate.
