In the Cairngorm National Park along the river Don you will find this low-cost, energy efficient building with large south facing Idealcombi Futura+ contemporary windows and sliding doors.

This house by BROWN + BROWN architects from Aberdeen does not need central heating as it is very ait-tight and equipped with an MVHR system – relying on the solar gain from the large Idealcombi windows, which will heat the house all year.

Products used:

Large Futura+ sliding doors toward south with a overhanging roof for shade in the summer. Combined with the fixed lights to the north the raked windows following the roof provide plenty of light to this contemporary house.

Architect: BROWN + BROWN
