Carefully chosen colors were meticulously matched to the original windows’ appearance. Internally, a clear lacquer was applied, emitting a welcoming warmth, while the exterior surfaces showcase a distinctive Ral 8003 Mat Clay Brown, perfectly echoing the aesthetics of the previous frames.

Considering the site’s exposure to fierce winds and heavy rainfall, we carefully selected windows engineered to withstand these challenges while simultaneously delivering exceptional thermal performance. All the while, the design preserves the original windows’ timeless style.

The refurbished façade marks the successful completion of Phase One, which encompassed the replacement of external windows and improvements in thermal efficiency.

The council opted for triple-glazed, energy-efficient Frame IC composite windows featuring Idealcore insulation. The use of aluminum for the exterior promises long-term maintenance savings compared to the prior timber frames, which demanded constant upkeep due to the challenging environmental conditions.
