Secured by Design
An increasingly important issue for our customers is the security of their projects.
For this reason we have sought Secured by Design status for a selection of our windows and doors. Secured by Design is a police initiative which supports the principles of designing out crime prevention and security standards.
For a windows or door to be awarded Secured by Design status they have to go through a vigorous testing process. The testing process will consist of the window or door attempting to be broken into using common methods of burglary.
FSC® Certification
Idealcombi uses FSC®-certified pine wood. This means that all pine-based windows and doors can be delivered with FSC labelling.
In an FSC-certified forest, no more wood is felled than the forest can naturally reproduce. At the same time, FSC is a guarantee that animals and plant life are protected, and that the people who work in the forest are guaranteed training, safety equipment and a decent salary.
ISO 9001 Certification
We are certified according to EN ISO 9001 and therefore ensure that all of us, when following the company’s procedures, live up to this standard, including the requirement of ongoing improvements. As customer satisfaction is in the spotlight in the context of the ISO certification, we ensure continued focus on customer-relevant business development.

CE marking
Since 1 February 2010, all window and door manufacturers have been required to place the CE marking on their products placed on the market in EU and other EEA countries. The CE marking introduced with the Construction Products Directive is a direct consequence of the EU single market, which is intended to ensure the free movement of goods and services between member states.
UKCA marking
The UKCA marking is a UK product marking used for goods placed on the market in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland). The UKCA marking came into effect on 1st January 2021 after EU Exit. On 1st January 2023 at the latest all window and door manufacturers are required to place the UKCA marking on their products placed on the market in Great Britain.
Association of Danish Window Manufacturers
Idealcombi is a member of the Association of Danish Window Manufacturers.
Our products are manufactured according to the most rigorous requirements in the market, which – combined with a joint warranty scheme – ensure the best product quality for our customers.
DVV (Danish Window Verification).
Idealcombi’s windows and doors are DVV-certified, which is requirement for all members of the Association of Danish Window Manufacturers. The DVV certification means that windows and doors are manufactured according to the Technical Requirements of the Association.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
The Technical Requirements for the manufacture of windows and doors have been drawn up as an industry standard by the Association of Danish Window Manufacturers to ensure consumers a product meeting a number of minimum requirements for high quality.
The Requirements describe and specify various requirements for the company’s organisation, product information, product facilities, quality management, materials and execution as well as performance requirements for the finished product.
The Requirements also contain rules for certification of the products. The purpose of the Requirements thus is to ensure that the product leaving the company is of such a high standard in regard to materials and execution that it at least corresponds to the Technical Requirements and the company’s own description and labelling of the product.
